Environmental, Social, and Governance

Environmental, social, and corporate governance is a fundamental part of what we do with time and resources consistently channelled toward achieving the most comprehensive results both on an asset level and operational level.  

On an operational level the following provisions and steps have been taken;  

  • Use of digital solutions meaning all employees work using tablets to digitise all procedures

  • Bathrooms supplied with recyclable dispensers for toiletries, reducing the need for single-use plastics

  • Revision of sourcing policies to incorporate more stringent ESG criteria for our suppliers

  • Participation in an Ecological Programme through which we support the charity ‘Just a drop’.

  • Supporting biodiversity and charity projects in the local community

  • Carbon neutral meetings and events offered to all clients – in partnership with Radisson Hotel Group

  • Established targets for investment in learning and development, team member retention rate and employee wellbeing

  • Diversity, Equality and Inclusion training for all team members

  • Collaboration with local artists and organisation of art events open to the whole community 

On an asset level the following provisions and steps have been taken;  

  • Identification in design stage - energy demanding appliances and removing the use of such

  • Sustainable refurbishment & fit out; mitigating the impact of the existing building on the environment

  • Local procurement of Furnishings, Fittings & Equipment (“FF&E”); floor and wall finishes made in Italy

  • Re-use of the original hotels FF&E; used to furnish another hotel in Romania

  • Occupancy management systems in hotel rooms and spa facilities; powering down when vacant

  • Proximity reader lighting in low occupancy areas; stairways, offices and back-of-house

  • WRAS approved appliances – sanitary and brass ware promoting water saving through low flow systems

  • 2 EV charging points in the car park
